BLACKPINK is back in making new history with the song “How You Like That“.
Gold / Platinum Canada recently announced that the song "How You Like That" was awarded a Gold certificate in Canada.
In order to be certified Gold, each song had to sell 40 thousand units in Canada.
With this achievement, BLACKPINK is now the only K-Pop girl group to have received a Gold certificate in Canada.
Previously BTS was the only K-Pop group that was able to get a Gold certificate in Canada, thanks to their songs 'Waste It On Me' and 'Boy With Luv'.
"How You Like That" itself is a pre-release song that was officially released by BLACKPINK in June, before making a comeback with the first full album "THE ALBUM" on October 2, 2020.
