Actor Yoo Yeon Seok made a guest appearance on “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon”!
During the July 30 broadcast of the radio show, Yoo Yeon Seok talked about various topics, including his newest movie “Steel Rain 2: Summit.”
The movie is that the sequel to 2017’s “Steel Rain,” which was about the aftermath of a coup in North Korea . “Steel Rain 2” is a few crisis that unfolds when the three leaders of the Koreas-United States summit are kidnapped during a North Korean nautilus .
Yoo Yeon Seok portrays North Korean chairman Jo Sun Sa who decides to hold out a summit for the primary time despite opposition from hardliners.
First off, Yoo Yeon Seok shared that he loves it when his fans say, “You always show different sides in each work.” He explained, “I tried to point out the audience a special side of me in ‘Steel Rain 2.’ once I perform in musicals, I attempt to show the audience something different I haven’t showed on camera before. I appreciate it when fans say that I’m ‘cool’ or ‘sexy,’ but I feel the simplest once they tell me they’ve seen a special side of me.”
Yoo Yeon Seok further delved into the subject of “Steel Rain 2.”
Radio host Kim Shin Young joked that the three leaders within the movie are too handsome, and therefore the actor answered, “I heard the director intentionally didn’t attempt to make it look similar. i feel it had been to permit for satire and humor through the infinite imagination of the movie.”
Then Yoo Yeon Seok talked about how he felt when he was cast within the movie. He commented, “I was also a touch doubtful initially . i assumed my role because the hairman was alleged to attend Kwak Do Won.”
He compared himself to his character, saying, “Because he’s about an equivalent age as me, i assumed I’d enter that character and believe what proportion pressure I’d feel if I were in his position at this age and the way I’d fight to guard what was mine once I met other leaders of other countries.”
