The film 'Peninsula' returns another achievement after less than a week since it was first screened in a South Korean cinema.
According to the Korean Film Council, the film, starring Kang Dong Won, successfully touched the number of two million viewers on Tuesday (07/21) at 14.13 KST.
Previously, 'Peninsula' had a record of reaching 1 million viewers in just under four days after it aired.
The new achievement of the film that tells about the invasion of zombies on the Korean peninsula as well as making it the first film to record the fastest film record reaching 2 million viewers since the COVID-19 pandemic became a plague in South Korea.
