SNSD's Hyoyeon will re-release a new single. This time through the name DJ HYO, the alias he used in his career in the EDM music track.
Later it was widely heard that fans were asking SM Entertainment for SNSD's comeback. Requests from fans who are familiarly called SONE roll on various social media platforms. One of them is the popular Pann forum from the Nate website.
A SONE uploaded an article which later went viral among SNSD fans in South Korea. The writing contained expressions of the feelings of fans who missed SNSD's presence in the South Korean music industry.
"How many girl bands can survive up to 13 years with fandom this strong? Why do you (SM Entertainment) put them aside? If it's hard (make a comeback) because now they are in different management, then at least give us a comeback Oh! GG. "I will be happy with only singles, so let them appear on music shows," wrote the fan.
The upload was then commented on by many fans who also had the same feeling. They miss SNSD returning to the music industry.
As with fans uploads on social media, management is not too concerned. There is no sign of SNSD's comeback so far since the members are also busy with their own projects.
The latest news from SNSD members came from Hyoyeon. He will be back with his latest EDM music project, aka DJ HYO. The management of SM Entertainment confirmed this news.
"It's true Hyoyeon is working on a new song and will be released in July 2020," management said.
Hyoyeon is currently appearing on the Mnet Good Girl event which was completed on July 2, 2020. The event's hype is still quite large, so it seems that DJ HYO will perform through his new song after this event. EDM DJ HYO's songs have their own listeners. Hyoyeon's release is the first one year after Badster was released.
Hyoyeon debuted with SNSD in 2007 and became the only member of the group to try EDM music and become a DJ. (ron / nu2)
