Until now, the spread of the Corona virus has not really been stopped because there is no vaccine. This caused a number of actors, including Song Joong Ki, to withdraw from the production of the film he starred in.
Song Joong Ki's management, History D&C, said the actor decided to withdraw from the film 'Season of You and Me'. This is because the shooting schedule collided due to COVID-19.
"Song Joong Ki will not appear on 'Season of You and Me'. Due to the unavoidable situation, he is currently setting his schedule for the second half of 2020," management said.
"Song Joong Ki is currently planning to focus on the promotion schedule for the film 'Space Sweepers', which will be released next summer," he continued.
Previously, Song Joong Ki also had to stop filming activities of the film 'Bogota' because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because the shooting was done in Colombia, he and the crew had to return to Korea after months of filming.
Song Joong Ki was also supposed to star in the movie 'Season of You and Me', a biopic film about musician Yoo Jae Ha after completing the filming of the film 'Bogota' which was then scheduled to be completed in May 2020.
