Lee Min Ho chose a romantic moment in the last scene in the fourth episode where the character Lee Gon took Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun) through the gates of the world and up to the Corea Empire. While Kim Go Eun chose the romantic moment of "bloody reunion" in the 11th and 12th episodes when Lee Gon and his army troops saved Jung Tae Eul who was about to be kidnapped again by Lee Rim's men (Lee Jung Jin).

"I remember the 'The King: Eternal Monarch' scene because we went on the process of shooting in Busan for three whole days. I was happy because I thought the audience also liked the scene," Kim Go Eun said.
