Lay is the first EXO member to spawn a solo album through the mini album "Lose Control" which was released in 2016. And so far, the 1991-born singer is the member who released the most solo music.

After the success of "Namanana", fans who miss wanting to listen to new music are now spoiled by Lay's solo album. Today, Monday (1/6), the owner's real name Zhang Yixing released a music video for his title track titled "LIT".

The MV "LIT" carries the concept of empire in the past era where Lay was told to be king. The MV opened with the scene of a group of soldiers surrounding and attacking him and overall presenting a very cool cinematic scene in the style of films.

The title track "LIT" is said to contain the perspective of King Xiang Yu of "Farewell, My Concubine" and the lyrics reflect a king's great aspirations. Lay participated in the cultivation, lyric writing, and the process of producing the song.

The album "LIT" itself besides containing the title track of the same title also contains 5 other tracks namely "Jade", "Eagle", "H2O", "Fly", and "Soul". The only EXO member from China took part in the process of making the whole song.

Meanwhile, Lay was recently announced to be participating in the "Street Dance of China 3" event that Youku will air in. Besides himself, this event will also feature Jackson GOT7 and Wang Yibo UNIQ.
