This time the comeback is arguably a special comeback. How not, this is Twice's first comeback with 9 member format after one of the members, Mina Myoui, is confirmed to be on hiatus from all promotional activities.
As you know, JYP Entertainment announced that Mina had to go on a hiatus due to anxiety disorders and focused on restoring her condition. Twice is known to promote without Mina for 2 times comeback in 2019 namely in the era of "Fancy You" and "Feel Special".
Mina, who is now fully cheerful and healthy, can now rejoin Twice on this comeback. Discussing about Mina's rejoining the group, Twice naturally felt emotional feelings. In an interview, Twice revealed that they felt grateful for Mina's courage to return to promotion this time.
"More than anything, I am very grateful. I am very happy that we are all together again, all because Mina brought courage. I am happy to be able to show fans our image as 9 more members," said the leader, Jihyo.
Chaeyoung revealed that he was very happy to be able to promote the 9-member format again. He even mentioned that when promoting as 8 members on stage, they felt Mina's place was missing.
"Whenever there are difficulties in life, what amuses me the most is having members. So I am very grateful for Mina who ventured this courage," Chaeyoung said.
"When we promoted as 8 members on stage during our last promotion, we felt Mina's place was missing. It's great that we can fill the stage with all 9 members now," continued Chaeyoung.
"I'm also grateful for Mina's courage. Twice shines the brightest when we have 9 members," said the maknae, Tzuyu.
Meanwhile, TWICE's new album consists of a total of seven songs, including the title tracks "More & More", "Oxygen", "Firework", "Make Me Go", "Shadow", "Don't Call Me Again", and "Sweet Summer Day". The members said that they most wanted to hear comments that the new album was fresh and that they were continuing to grow, and that people were looking forward to their next album.
