Bangtan Boys or often called BTS some time ago was confirmed to be helping "Class Of 2020" to celebrate their graduation while staying at home. In the event, the opening speech will be delivered by several important people as well as prominent artists from around the world including BTS.
In addition to BTS, speeches will also be delivered by former President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and activist Malala Yousafzai.
Variety media outlets describe the event as being done in a festival style, with a mixture of performances and talks that discuss the traditional graduation day theme. BTS and others will appear in virtual after-party performances.
After reading his speech, the BTS members then entertained their fans by presenting 3 of their best songs. The boy group closed the ceremony with a performance at the National Museum of Korea, where they sang "Boy With Luv", "Spring Day" and "Microcosm".
BTS brought the three songs to the maximum and the amazing camera taking technique. Two performances namely "Boy With Luv" and "Microcosm" were performed standing while "Spring Day" was shown sitting down.
In addition, this event was also attended by several prominent singers. There will also be special performances by Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington, Chloe x Halle, Zendaya, and YouTubers Jackie Aina, AsapSCIENCE, Dude Perfect, Mr. Kate, and The Try Guys.
On the other hand, BTS members also take turns sharing words of hope, motivation and congratulations (RM in English, six other members in Korean). The seven members reflect on their own youth before encouraging graduates to take responsibility for their lives and shape their own paths when they pursue their dreams.
