Not long ago Crush's agency, P Nation announced that it would release a digital single series. The title track of the series is titled "Mayday" and in this song, Crush took Joy Red Velvet to collaborate.

The song was released today, Wednesday (5/20) along with the MV. In the MV, successful fans are infuriated by Joy and Crush's super romantic interactions. They show affection like lovers in the MV.

To celebrate the release of the collaboration, the two held a live program called "Comeback Countdown Live". During the program Joy and Crush opened up to talk about their collaboration song and promised to do something if their song topped the chart.

Joy revealed that she herself is a fan of Crush so she was very happy when given the offer to collaborate with the rapper. The Red Velvet member then explained the purpose of the song to fans.

"I am a fan of Crush so my heart is happy when I receive an offer to collaborate on the song," said Joy. "Lately it's been a hard day, and people can feel frustrated. I think that feeling is well expressed in the song, and it's acceptable."

Crush then revealed that he also felt happy to collaborate with Joy. According to Crush, Joy was very suitable to sing the song so that when he listened to "Mayday" he could immediately imagine Joy's voice.

"It's an honor for me. I suggest that because when I compose this song, I think it must match Joy's voice. Thank you for being the right person in the right place for this song. Every time you need my help, please contact me, "said Crush.

The two singers then promised something if the song succeeded in dominating the chart. They both promised to make a dance video of the latest Red Velvet song "Psycho" if "Mayday" tops the charts.

A source from P Nation described "Mayday" as a song that would reveal Crush's unique spring sensitivity. This song is also claimed to be suitable for the warm spring weather filled with blooming flowers.

This single is the first release by Crush in about five months since his second full-length album titled "From Midnight to Sunrise". The album was known to be released last December. This is also the first song to open the upcoming "homemade" series.
