SHINee Twitter Account Uploads Mysterious Updates, Fans Allegedly Coming Soon

SHINee has just provided an update that is allegedly strong as a comeback. This makes some fans suspect that the boy group will soon be returning to greet fans.

Good news for SHINee fans. The reason is recently, the boy group made by SM Entertainment has just provided an update that is allegedly strong as a comeback. This was uploaded through SHINee's official Twitter account.

Today, Thursday (10/4), fans were shocked by the upload on Twitter that featured countdown from Onew, Key, and Minho who will soon complete their mandatory military service. Website links are shared on social media with the text "[2020 SHINee'S BACK!] The countdown to shining SHINee’s D-DAY has started".


Onew's countdown is now at D-100, Key at D-179, and Minho at D-218. The upload also featured various hashtags including "Shining SHINee," "The DAY Shawols are waiting for," and "2020 SHINee is back".

Many fans are wondering if this new countdown is an indication that the group plans to make a comeback in 2020 after three members return from the military. The SHINee members themselves are currently busy with solo activities.

SHINee's last release as a group was their 10th anniversary project titled "The Story of Light". This album contains 16 songs released in parts throughout 2018.

The project also released MVs for their songs such as "Good Evening", "I Want You", "Our Page", and "Countless". Onew is known to have enlisted in the military on 10 December 2018, Key was registered on 4 March 2019 and served as a member of a military band, and Minho enlisted in the Marine Corps on 15 April 2019.
