REVIEW: Exciting Action Park Seo Joon and Woo Do Hwan in the film 'The Divine Fury' - The film 'The Divine Fury' can finally be watched by fans in Indonesia.

The film 'The Divine Fury' can finally be watched by fans in Indonesia.

The film, starring actors Park Seo Joon, Woo Do Hwan and Ahn Sung Ki, can already be watched through the CGV and Cinemaxx cinemas in Indonesia starting on August 14 yesterday.

'The Divine Fury' is an action, thriller and horror film, which covers the ritual of exorcism.

Park Seo Joon plays the role of an MMA athlete named Park Yonghu who grew up by not trusting God, after experiencing a dark past. Despite not trusting God, one day Park Yonghu got a 'miracle' called Stigmata, which can be used to drive out demons.

He then meets Pastor Ahn (Ahn Sung Ki), a priest from the Vatican who is assigned to South Korea to conduct an exorcism ritual and capture the 'Black Bishop'.

After performing an exorcism ritual together, the two finally meet with Ji Shin (Woo Do Hwan) a devil worshiper called Father Ahn as the 'Black Bishop'.

The film, directed by director Kim Joo Hwan, shows a strong religious element. Evidenced by the many scenes that involve churches, crosses, rosaries to Bible verses.

Instead of presenting a horrifying horror scene, this film involving demons and demons actually looks like an action and thriller movie, with action scenes that will spoil the audience's eyes.

This superhero action scene is what makes the movie 'The Divine Fury' look very different from other exorcism-themed films. Of course there are lots of satanic screams that will make the audience feel uncomfortable sitting in his chair.

Unfortunately, some jumpscare in this film seems ineffective and it feels forced. This can be remedied by scoring music to slick cinematography that is shown throughout the film.

In addition to action and thriller, this film also presents a touching drama, featuring the story of Park Yonghu and his father, as well as Pastor Ahn's struggle in living God's commands.

Fanservice from Park Seo Joon and Woo Do Hwan are also certain to make the fangirl screaming hysterically in the studio. The reunion between Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik after both starring in the film 'Parasite' is also the main attraction in this film.

Finally, ‘The Divine Fury’ is a movie about exorcism with a refreshing plot that is certainly worth watching.

The plan of this film will have a sequel titled 'The Green Exorcist'. (www.kpopchart.net)
