One more homeland film that will be filmed in a city in South Korea.

It is the film 'Love Is Blind', which is an adaptation of the Philippine film titled 'We-We'. But different from 'We-We' who took locations in Japan, 'Love Is Blind' will take locations in Busan, South Korea.

The film stars Indonesian stand-up comedian Dodit Mulyanto, then a beautiful Indonesian actress, Shandy Aulia, and South Korean actor Chae In Woo. Produced by Marsio Juwono and directed by Rachmania Arunita, who is also known as the author of the novel 'Eiffel - I' m in love '.

When asked about his reasons for taking location in South Korea, Rachmania Arunita explained that Indonesian people are now more familiar with South Korea. This can be proven by the expansion of K-Pop content and Korean drama in the country. As he explained in the press conference 'Love Is Blind' at the Hong Kong Cafe on Thursday (29/08) yesterday.

According to producer Marsio Juwono, about 95% of the film will be taken in Busan, while the remaining 5% will be taken in Jakarta. In addition to adding a romantic impression to this film, viewers are also certain to be able to see the beauty of various tourist attractions in Busan.

The film, produced by MM2, Reflection Pictures, Ideosource Entertainment, and Viva Films tells the story of Diah (Shandy Aulia), who lived for several years in South Korea as a tour guide. There he found love and happiness with his girlfriend, Jun-Ho (Chae In Woo), a handsome man native to Korea. They have been engaged for 3 years and many times postponed marriage until their relationship failed.

Feeling disappointed and hurt, Diah fainted after deciding Jun-ho. Diah then woke up with blind eyes. It made him lose his enthusiasm for life and shut himself up until he met Nik (Dodit Mulyanto) who never gave up to make him happy.

The film 'Love is Blind' will appear in all Indonesian theaters on Thursday, October 10, 2019. (www.kpopchart.net)
