Winner announced the comeback date after having made fans confused - Winner Finally Answered Fans' Curiosity by Releasing a Second Teaser Photo Containing a Comeback Date Uploaded in the Group's Official Twitter Account.
One of the groups made by YG Entertainment, Winner (II) again shocked his fans by announcing a comeback. In the group's official Twitter account, Winner released a poster containing the date for their comeback.
Earlier on Wednesday (1/5), the group fronted by Kang Seung Yoon CS successfully made fans confused by releasing a teaser photo for his latest release. In the photos they uploaded, a black and white photo dominates the image.
In the teaser photo there are no leaked dates or concepts that Lee Seung Hoon cs will bring later. But this time, Winner finally answered fans' curiosity by releasing a second teaser photo that contained the comeback date.
A sign with the previous teaser photo, this time the teaser photo is also dominated by black. The slick silver teaser image that displays the Winner logo is in the middle in a complicated cube frame. The photo also shows that Winner will release his new album on May 15th.
This is Winner's first comeback in about five months after the release of "Millions" in December 2018. This is also Winner's first comeback in 2019 which is highly anticipated by Inner Circle (the name of fans Winner).
The song "Millions" itself was released last December which is a song that has a unique tone. Unique tones of bold guitar passages, sharp drum beats and bright whistle synth effects make this song sound like a tropical-pop dance song.
Winner's own comeback rumors have been circulating since last February. On February 25, Yang Hyun Suk as the boss of YG Entertainment announced that Winner had finished recording for their new album through his personal Instagram account.
Yang Hyun Suk shared a screen capture photo of his chat group with the four members Winner. In the chat, he seemed to congratulate the members on completing the recording. He also added happy emoticons that read "good luck".
