Various Korean celebrities donate to fire victims in Gangwon - A number of celebrities in South Korea work together to help victims of the fire disaster in Gangwon Province.

A number of celebrities in South Korea work together to help victims of the fire disaster in Gangwon Province.

Previously the South Korean government had set fire in Gangwon Province as a National Disaster, after killing 2 people and burning 260 hectares of forest.

Based on a statement from the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, many celebrities donated their funds to help the victims of the fire.

Renowned drama writer Kim Eun Sook with Yoon Ha Rim from the production house of Hwa & Dam Pictures has reportedly donated 20 million Won.

Then actress Kim Yoo Jung and comedian Sim Hyun Seop each contributed 10 million Won.

Actors Song Joong Ki and Nam Joo Hyuk each gave 30 million Won, Cube Entertainment for 50 million Won, while Jung Il Woo and K.Will each amounted to 20 million Won.

All of the above funds were donated to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and will be used to provide relief and recovery supplies.

In addition, IU is also reported to have donated 100 million Won to the Green Umbrella Children. The funds will be used to help children who are victims of fires in Gangwon. IU has also postponed the screening of the original Netflix drama titled 'Persona'.

While Super Junior's Heechul donated 30 million Won in cash to the Community Chest of Korea. Heechul is indeed known as a singer from Gangwon Province and currently he is an honorary ambassador from his hometown, Hoengseong District.

Finally, Hyomin T-ara also contributed various supplies needed at the evacuation site, in the form of ramen, water and instant rice. (www.kpopchart.net)
