Im Siwan reportedly received an offer to play on a new film entitled 'Boston 1947'.

On Monday (1/4), the Sport Chosun news outlet reported that Siwan had been confirmed to star in a new film entitled "Boston 1947". According to Sport Chosun, this news was obtained from a source in the film industry.

Shortly after this news circulated, Siwan's agency, Plum Actors, gave their clarification. They stated that the artist had indeed received an offer to play in the film, but had not made a final decision.

"It's true that (Siwan) has accepted an offer to star in 'Boston 1947'," the agency said. "But nothing can be confirmed. This offer is being reviewed positively."

"Boston 1947" itself will tell the story of South Korean athletes participating in the 1947 Boston Marathon competition. The race itself is the first international sporting event after World War II ended.

Previously, actors Ha Jung Woo and Bae Sung Woo had confirmed their appearance in this film. Meanwhile, this film will be worked on by director Kang Jae Kyu.

Im Siwan himself just completed his military service on March 27. He will soon make a comeback by acting in the upcoming OCN drama, "Strangers From Hell".
