Hwang Hana Wants to Use Illegal Drugs on the Suggestions of a Celebrity - Hwang Hana claimed that she used illegal drugs on the advice of a celebrity friend.
On Saturday (06/04), the Suwon District Court issued a pre-trial detention warrant for Hwang Hana at 6:50 p.m. local time.
The court said, "It is possible that he will escape, so he needs to be detained."
Hwang Hana allegedly used a drug called Philopon between May and June and September 2015, and illegally consumed two drugs containing Clonazepam, a psychotropic drug, in April last year.
In September 2015, Hwang Hana was charged with violating the Law on the Use of Narcotics on charges of using 0.5 grams of Philopon with a student identified by Cho's last name in Gangnam district.
During the investigation, Hwang Hana and her lawyer acknowledged all charges of drug use. They explained that he first used Philopon in 2015 and stopped for three years until one of his celebrity friends suggested he use the drug again, so he used the drug from late 2018 until recently.
