Seungri was named a suspect in the case of prostitution services he provided for foreign investors. The 1990-born singer was also alleged to have gambled abroad and was involved in Jung Joon Young's illegal sex video scandal.

On Thursday (14/3), the Sisa Journal media revealed a text message that showed evidence that Seungri was involved in the overseas betting market. Text messages also reveal how Seungri provides sexual escort services to his business partners.

The message containing the conversation between Seungri and his business partner in 2014 was known as A. They discussed which women to take for business trips to Indonesia. Further reports revealed that Seungri presented photos and information about the age, occupation, and personality of various women, and asked his business partners to choose a woman.

Friday (3/15), lawyer Seungri stated that the message Seungri sent was a response to a number of questions from A. According to lawyers, A had cheated Seungri more than 2 billion Won (around Rp. 12.5 billion). Seungri's answers are the result of A's trap.

"(CEO A) cheats (Seungri) over 2 billion Won. Seungri sued him for fraud but fell because of a trick question. It seems (CEO A) carefully planned questions to be used as a threat if problems arise after committing fraud," Seungri's lawyer said.

Regarding information about the women sent by Seungri, the lawyer claimed that he used photographs of women from whom he had taken the internet. He hopes to receive the money back and declare that the agreement did not occur.

"He sent photos of women he did not know randomly on the internet. The deal actually did not happen. He just said he had 'stocked' these women in the hope that he would get 2 billion won back," continued Seungri's lawyer.

Meanwhile, Seungri announced his retirement from the entertainment industry. YG Entertainment as the agency also terminated the contract with him. He fulfilled the police call for interrogation on Thursday (3/14) with Mr. Yoo from Yuri Holdings allegedly involved.
