In the midst of the commotion of the Seungri and friends scandal, La República, a Peru-based media, made a fatal mistake. Even though the media is one of the two main national newspapers sold throughout the country.

Thursday (3/14), La República released news about celebrities who were rumored or confirmed to be involved in the Seungri scandal. But they included photos of V Bangtan Boys (BTS) and D.O. EXO.

BTS and EXO fans who found the error La República poured out their anger on social media. Many have asked the agency to act decisively so that mistakes like this do not happen again considering the Seungri scandal is a very sensitive matter.

"I don't believe the Peruvian media uploaded a photo of Taehyung (real name V) in an article about the Seungri scandal and other idols in South Korea just to 'trap' readers. I hope Big Hit Entertainment sues them because their actions are so disgusting," comments fans.

"Wrong accusations and defamation. Even though it was only a mistake, this could damage Taehyung's reputation," added another fan. "Even though they have been deleted, what did they do? How can they incorrectly install photos V and D.O. on this issue. Are they intentionally looking for readers? They deserve to be sued," concluded another.
