JB Becomes the Oldest Member, Jus2 Turns out to Choose Yugyeom as Leader - Although JB is the oldest member in GOT7, but they agreed to make Yugyeom a juice leader.
Two members of the GOT7, JB and Yugyeom groups recently joined a new sub-unit called Jus2. The sub-unit debuted with an album titled "Focus" and the main song "Focus On Me".
On March 12, this unit came on SBS Power FM's radio show "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time" as a guest star. During the program, they discussed many things about Jus2 including their decision to choose Yugyeom as a leader.
"We heard that Yugyeom is the youngest member of GOT7, but he is the leader of this unit group," the host said. "Is he really like a leader?"
"Instead of a charismatic leader, I am a leader who tends to leave members alone," Yugyeom answered. "He is more like a leader that allows members to move freely than to be a negligent leader," JB said.
After being appointed as a group leader, Yugyeom himself admitted that he felt awkward. The 1997-born singer claimed not to be accustomed to having to do activities that the leader usually does.
"Honestly it's kind of awkward to say that I'm the leader," Yugyeom said. "I don't do many things. Usually, the leader introduces the song or starts greeting right? I'm just a leader on paper."
But instead, JB actually praised Yugyeom by saying that Yugyeom works very well as a leader. "That's not true. He was really great as a leader. He became a leader just because of the question‘ You want to try to be a leader? 'But he was really great, "JB said.
