ARMY misunderstands JK Rowling Trending because of Jungkook BTS, Harry Potter fans are upset - BTS Fans and Harry Potter Fans Involved 'Fierce' War on Twitter. This is the reason.
ARMY, Bangtan Boys (BTS) fans were involved in a confrontation with "Harry Potter" fans. They argue who among the more famous Jungkook and JK Rowling.
Thursday (28/3), JK Rowling suddenly became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter on Thursday (28/3). The author of the popular series "Harry Potter" was the talk of worldwide Twitter users after the 9Gag account made memes that had nothing to do with Jungkook at all.
Meme challenges Twitter users to type, "JK Rowling reveals that you ..." and completes it to become a sentence. Within a few hours, the cuitan was liked almost ten thousand times, as much as the number of people tried and shared the sentences they formed.
However, ARMY suddenly filled Twitter with a statement saying he was curious about why Jungkook, known as JK nickname, became trending. They also wondered what the word "Rowling" meant behind him.
Some ARMY even thought Jungkook was trending because it growled and made it a joke. In English, growling means growling. They mistakenly thought JK Rowling meant Jungkook who was growling.
Harry Potter fans immediately made a fuss after learning that ARMY mistook JK Rowling for trending because of Jungkook. "Fighting" on Twitter is inevitable.
"The fact that people think JK Rowling is trending because of a guy named Jungkook? Obviously there are a lot of Muggles (non-magicians in books) in this generation," wrote Harry Potter fans.
"All of you kids who know the internet, you know JK Rowling. The books are the only literature that you compare," added another fan.
ARMY who did not accept was cursed and then attacked. "You know ARMY basically has Twitter, right? That means we often make anything trending every day," said one ARMY. "Obviously we would mistake JK Rowling as Jungkook because of 'JK'. Don't overdo it and act like royalty," said another.
