Transmedia-SM Ready for Indonesian-Kpop Artists to Go to the World Stage - Transmedia signed a Head of Agreements (HoA) with one of the largest agencies in South Korea, SM Entertainment. Both will collaborate to lift Indonesian and Kpop artists to the world stage.

With the signing of the agreement, strategic cooperation began in four areas, namely talent management, content production, digital, and lifestyle.

"Of course we hope that this collaboration can not only provide opportunities for Korean artists to express or do their works in Indonesia, but also can lift the works of Indonesian artists in the eyes of the world," said Chairul Tanjung, Chairman of CT Corp while giving a speech at the Signing of the Principles of the Trans Media and SM Entertainment Cooperation Agreement, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Ballroom C, Thursday (02/21/2019).

"This collaboration between SM Entertainment and Trans Media covers 4 fields, namely talent management, in the fields of content, lifestyle, and digital," he continued again.

This collaboration also aims to advance the development of Indonesia's entertainment industry. The development in question is not in the Asian realm, but rather in the International realm.

"Our goal is for Indonesian citizens to be the center of culture throughout Indonesia to become the center that we will expand in the cultural industry that will develop celebrities like Super Junior as the famous K-Pop icon. The goal is not only Asia but also the world," continued Lee Man, Chairman of SM Entertainment.
