On February 6, this girl group made by 'Produce 48' made their debut in Japan with the release of a single titled 'Suki to Iwasetai'.

The single immediately sold 193,469 units on the first day of release and ranked first on the daily singles chart on Oricon.

With this figure, IZ * ONE managed to set a new record as a K-Pop single girl group that got the highest sales figures in Japan on the first day, beating the record of 'Wake Me Up' TWICE which at that time managed to sell 129,275 units on the first day.
