Hyorin Blak-Blakan Admits Salary at Sistar Greater Than Solo Career - Hyorin was present as a guest star in the latest episode of MBC's program "Section TV". On this occasion, he shared many interesting things, starting from his career as a solo artist to his friendship with the members of his old group, Sistar.
In 2019 this is the tenth year of his debut as a celebrity. Hyorin was asked about the amount of income he received as a solo artist and when he was still a member of Sistar. "My income is much higher when I do a promotion as a member (Sistar) rather than being myself (a solo artist)," Hyorin said.
Hyorin revealed that he had difficulty when promoting as a solo artist. He also said that he could not replace the promotion with his group with anything.
"I think there are many disadvantages of being a solo artist. The places that Sistar usually uses are now empty," Hyorin said. "I can't change the time when we do promotions with anything. I think of the members (Sistar) when having a difficult time."
Hyorin then talked with his good friendship with the Sistar members. He also said that they still often meet each other.
"They are the kind of friends who will give you ten answers if you ask a question," Hyorin said. "We met on Bora's birthday. We met more often than imagined (before)."
The singer with a melodious voice was dubbed the "OST Queen" after singing the soundtrack on many television series. He also said the songs were in the series "Master Sun" and "Driving Me Crazy" as the most appreciated soundtrack songs.
When he was asked whether he wanted to try a career in acting, the 28-year-old singer firmly denied this. "I don't (want to act). I feel embarrassed when everyone looks at me," Hyorin said.
Hyorin himself decided to leave Sistar in 2017 and focus on his solo career. After Hyorin left, the other Sistar members agreed to dissolve the group. Because they have a provision if one member leaves, the group will disband.
