Releasing New Photos, 3 Members of SM Books Are Less Handsome and Not In Accordance with SM Standards - Last month, SM Entertainment introduced 3 new trainees named Yang Yang, Xiao Jun and Hendery where each came from China and Macau. All three are predicted to be debuting as members of the Chinese NCT subunit.
Friday (8/17) yesterday, SM released new photos of the three trainees on an official Instagram account to celebrate the Qixi Festival. The Qixi Festival itself is a celebration of valentines day or also known as Valentine's Day of China.
"After the previous self-introduction, we meet again after 22 days," wrote the caption on the post. "Today is the Qixi Festival, we want to know how you celebrated it. We went out for a long time today and ate. We had fun."
These new photos of Hendery and friends are the topic of netter talks on online community sites. Unfortunately, the netters made negative comments and called their visuals not according to SM standards.
"They remind me of the visuals that SM searched for 10 years ago, which are super tacky with big chins," commented Netter. "Very bad. Visual SM continues to decline," said another netter. "There is no one that suits my taste," added another.
Meanwhile, SM has confirmed that the Chinese subunit will debut this year, but there has been no announcement about the group name or the members. Nevertheless, the fans are quite sure that this subunit will be named NCT116, taken from the longitude of the city of Beijing as well as 127 which is the longitude of the city of Seoul.
