SM Entertainment makes another breakthrough in the world of K-pop (Collage X @aslangrh, @Hypeabisid)

SM Entertainment, through its subsidiary Creation Music Rights (KMR), collaborates with startup Jinaem to establish a "Kpop Hotel" aimed at global K-pop fans.
This collaboration was announced on July 29, 2024, when Jinaem and KMR signed an MOU to build a residential hotel for K-pop fans as well as international songwriters and lyricists.
Creation Music Rights as a publishing subsidiary of SM Entertainment, will provide music and content support.
Meanwhile, Jinaem, a startup in the lifestyle and health sector, will manage this project, including development, planning, and operations.
This Kpop Hotel will be built in Seoul with a capacity of 20-30 rooms. Which will become a cultural center for K-pop fans, allowing them to enjoy music by composer KMR and get various additional benefits.
According to the 2023 Global Hallyu Status report, the number of Hallyu fans worldwide reached around 225 million in December last year.
This shows a significant increase from previous years. Where This is about 24 times higher than in 2012, when the Korean Wave first began to be liked.
Jinaem itself has operated six residences in various locations, recently receiving investment from SM Culture & Partners.
