'The Midnight Romance in Hagwon' tells the story of star tutor Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won) and the brave student who becomes the new teacher Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon).
Jung Ryeo Won underwent an interview with local media regarding her acting in the drama "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon". One thing the actress discussed was the process of filming her bed scene with Wi Ha Joon.
Ryeo Won did not hesitate to reveal the facts behind the bed scene. The actress said, "We planned how to approach it and finally finished shooting the bed scene in one take."
Ryeo Won praised the director in the process of filming the bed scene. "On other projects, it might take several takes, so I'm curious how it turns out. It ended up being very intense. The director was really on another level," he added.
Ryeo Won also praised Ha Joon's acting skills. "When we filmed the end of episode 6, Wi Ha Joon was soaking wet and spoke earnestly in 'The Midnight Romance in Hagwon'. His eyes were charming," he praised.
"At first, I couldn't see it because I looked at him through the eyes of a teacher, but his sincerity really hit me. I remember wondering why he didn't do more romance before," continued Ryeo Won.
Ryeo Won also discussed the process of filming her kiss with Ha Joon in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon". "While filming the kiss scene, the director told me that Hye Jin (his character) was in a relationship for the first time," he said.
Ryeo Won actually wanted to lead the kiss, but he was nervous. "I want to be the main actor because I have filmed more scenes like this than Ha Joon, but I can't act too skillfully," he added.
"So, we both ended up being awkward. We decided to accept this awkwardness. There was a moment in the kissing scene where my hand slipped and we laughed out loud. I thought it was a big mistake, but the director broadcast it instead," he concluded.
