Netizens made complaints on Varo Entertainment's Instagram account. However, they actually wrote various comments on the video featuring Gong Seung Yeon.
Byeon Woo Seok's bodyguard's excessive behavior at the airport still attracts attention. The reason was that the guards blocked access to the airport entrance which disturbed visitors and even turned on flash lights at the fans.
The actions of Woo Seok's bodyguard made netizens write complaining comments on Varo Entertainment's Instagram account. However, they actually wrote various comments in the video featuring Gong Seung Yeon when he was a guest star on "Amazing Saturday".
"Why do security companies check passenger tickets?[sic!]," wrote one netizen. "The agency even blamed the security company. Even BTS, BLACKPINK, Son Heung Min and Kim Yu Na didn't block the airport gate[sic!]," added another.
However, there are many Seung Yeon fans who don't accept it because netizens should complain about Woo Seok's photo or video posts. This netizen's attitude caused unintentional harm to the unrelated actor's post.
"Why are you all causing trouble on Gong Seung Yeon's feed?[sic!]," wrote one fan. "Don't post protest comments on other actors' feeds. Send emails[sic!]," added another. "Please don't do this here[sic!]," said another.
On the other hand, the controversy over the bodyguard's behavior began when Woo Seok was about to leave for Hong Kong on July 12. At that time the actor was surrounded by six bodyguards who blocked the entrance for about 10 minutes. They also arbitrarily checked passports and tickets of general passengers.
The controversy intensified when a video showed a bodyguard shining a light on a passenger who was taking photos in the airport waiting room. The situation becomes more serious because these restrictions impact general passengers, not just fans.
Meanwhile, the Incheon Airport Police begin investigating the bodyguards involved in excessive security measures during Woo Seok's departure. Police plan to investigate whether the bodyguard broke any laws such as obstructing business, coercion or assault. (wk/charity)
