The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Award event successfully took place today (19/07).
The Blue Dragon Series Award is an award event for a series of series and variety shows broadcast via the streaming services Netflix, Disney+, Seezn, Apple Tv+, Watcha, Wavve, KakaoTV, Coupangplay and Tving.
Various original series and variety shows that aired from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 were nominated for this award show.
Drama Moving was the team with the most nominations at the award ceremony, and successfully won 3 trophies starting from Actor and Actress Rising Star which was won by Lee Jung Ha and Go Young Jung to the biggest nomination for Daesang (Grand Prize).
The drama Daily Dose of Sunshine also managed to bring home 2 nomination trophies for Best Drama and Best Actress which were won by actress Park Bo Young.
For variety shows, SNL Korea Season 5 was the show that took home the most trophies, namely the nominations for Best Male Entertainer and Best Rookie Female Entertainer, which were respectively won by Shin Dong Yeob and Yoon Ga I.
