In a recent interview, Gyu Young admitted that it took him a long time to style himself in 'Celebrity'. The actress struggles to keep her hair short.
Park Gyu Young is currently attracting public attention for his acting in "Celebrity". The actress born in 1993 plays the main female character named Seo A Ri, a new influencer who experiences the hardships of the Korean entertainment world.
In a recent interview, Gyu Young admitted that it took him a long time to style himself on "Celebrity". "It takes a long time to do hair, makeup, and styling because all of that is important (for the drama)," said the actress.
Gyu Young himself even thought he had long hair because he had appeared in dramas with short hair several times. "I've often worn short hairstyles in previous projects, so I thought this time I should try long hair," he confided.
But when he finally had to style his hair short, Gyu Young revealed his hard struggle. "It's very difficult to maintain this short hairstyle. Even if the length increases by 1mm, the atmosphere will change and continuity will be interrupted, so I have to cut my hair every 10 days," added the actress.
Gyu Young also discussed some of the styles displayed by A Ri on "Celebrity". "The red dress that was worn in the monologue scene in the opening (of the drama) was the outfit that took the longest time to prepare," he said.
The production team chose it because it was the opening and wanted to look intense. The other outfit was a white tweed jacket doused with wine. It was very memorable. It was a limited edition outfit, but the team prepared about 3 extra outfits because we needed clothes with and without wine as well as clothes that fits Lee Chung Ah's body," he added.
Gyu Young said that the production team formed a separate style team because it became the most important part of "Celebrity". "They arrange it according to the whole story or scene context," added the beautiful actress.
Gyu Young revealed that his character has worn styles of various colors and made of heavy materials such as silk or velvet. The actress actively expresses her opinion so as to fully express her character not only through acting but also through her style. (wk/charity)
