The most painful and sad thing that fans feel in liking K-Pop idols is that one of the members leaves their group for some reason or leaves suddenly for no reason.
Even if it was the idol's own decision to leave, or instead was forced out of the group against their will, it's understandably the decision that is the hardest thing for their fans to accept.
Recently, through the online communication medium reddit, in a post made for K-Pop fans, who do they think the departure of any idol group hurts them the most when the idol leaves the group, and here are their top 10 answers:

"This is really hard to think about, I mean a lot of fans just wanted to drop Monsta x after Wonho left, and were so sad to hear their first new album release after his departure, but the members of Monsta x were amazing, and they're all still friends with Wonho.
