ZE:A's Im Siwan invited Girls' Generation's Choi Sooyoung as a guest for a fan concert he was holding, the two of them even performing a dance cover together.
The rare moment that 2nd generation idols met again was engraved in history by ZE:A's Im Siwan and SNSD's or Girls' Generation's Choi Sooyoung. The two even did a dance cover together on stage.
Choi Sooyoung became Im Siwan's invited guest for his first fan concert which took place on Saturday, February 11. The two of them then immediately performed a dance cover together, performing several of SNSD's popular songs at once.
Im Siwan, who has been focusing on his career as an actor for many years, has returned to his life as an idol. He really memorized the choreography of SNSD's songs well, no less than Choi Sooyoung.
This collaboration between Im Siwan and Choi Sooyoung has fans excited. Not a few highlighted the coquettish attitude of the idol and actor born in 1988 when dancing. He is said to be proof that many South Korean men are SNSD fanboys.
The reunion moment of Im Siwan and Choi Sooyoung was also happily welcomed by fans. Both of them are known to have been in the same drama project, namely "Run On", which aired in 2020.
"Siwan oppa dances more coquettishly than Sooyoung unni," one fan exclaimed on Twitter. "I have forgotten that Im Siwan is also an idol pls," said another. "2 favorite actors in idol mode, Siwan, when he's in idol mode, often forgets the role of the green flag and his psycho," explained another.
Many fans were also surprised because Im Siwan jaho danced. The reason is, many know him as an actor alone. Meanwhile, he first debuted as an idol with ZE:A in 2010 with Park Hyung Sik, Lee Hoo, Kevin, Kwanghee, Taeheon, Jung Heechul, Minwoo, and Kim Dong Jun.
"Hahh, I just found out that Siwan is an idol, huh? I just got to know him after watching Summer Strike yesterday and immediately liked him, really calm guy," said another. "Huh, is this a concert or a fanmeet? Is he an idol group, just found out he's singing. This is the same person who, when playing dramas, has a horrible character, Siwan kiyowooo," said another.
