Yoo Ah In tested positive for using marijuana or cannabis. This was discovered after police investigated the illegal use of propofol.
Reported by Soompi on Saturday (11/2/2023), earlier this week, on February 5, 2023, the police investigated Yoo Ah In for drug use soon after he returned to Korea from the United States. As part of the investigation, Yoo Ah In underwent a urine test and a hair test.
On February 10, the police officially announced that Yoo Ah In's urine sample tested positive for marijuana. The results of the hair test have not come out yet.
Previously, on February 8 and 9, the police carried out searches and seizures of various doctors' offices and clinics in the Gangnam and Yongsan districts of Seoul who were suspected of illegally administering propofol to Yoo Ah In since early 2021.
Responding to news of Yoo Ah In's urine test results, his agency UAA stated that they still did not know and would wait for the police report.
“We have not received any notification from the police about [his] drug test results,” the agency said.
