According to reports from the DongA Ilbo media, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety asked the police to examine actor Yoo Ah In since November 2022.
The examination was carried out after they found a history of actor Yoo Ah In asking for propofol prescriptions at various hospitals in 2021.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety became suspicious of Yoo Ah In's habit of using drugs.
As after analyzing the integrated management system, they found information about narcotic and psychotropic drugs, the hospitals that prescribed them, and the patients who took them.
Last year, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety was known to have requested an investigation of 51 people including Yoo Ah In.
The police have also expanded their investigation by seizing and searching hospitals in Gangnam-gu and Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
