Winners from December 2021 to November 2022 in a row are IVE "ELEVEN", Kep1er "WA DA DA", Tae Yeon Girls' Generation "INVU", (G)I-DLE "TOMBOY", IVE "LOVE DIVE", LE SSERAFIM "FEARLES". BTS "Yet to Come", aespa "Girls", BLACKPINK "Pink Venom", BLACKPINK "Shut Down", LE SSERAFIM "ANTIFRAGILE", and ITZY "CHESHIRE".
Netizens in the Instiz online community questioned why NewJeans did not win even once considering that last year, their two songs namely "Attention" and "Hype Boy" were very popular among the public. Others answered because the group's song release coincided with BLACKPINK.
"Heol, why isn't NewJeans there?" netizen comments. "NewJeans together with BLACKPINK," said another netizen. "Kingtan, they are the only boy group," said netizens. "Why isn't NewJeans there? Everyone thought NewJeans would be there," added another.
