ATEEZ's Hongjoong experienced an unpleasant incident during their first European tour concert in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Apparently, his front teeth were broken.
As is known, ATEEZ's world tour has started since February 10, 2023. Amsterdam became the first city for the tour entitled “THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL”.
The next day, Hongjoong revealed on the UNIVERSE fan platform that the concert went well. However, an unexpected incident happened to him where his front teeth were broken while performing.
"You know something?! I broke my tooth again… this time, it's a big problem," said Hongjoong as reported by Soompi, Sunday (12/2/2023).
“I thought it was just healthy teeth..! But I hit it with my mic, hehehehehehehe. These are my front teeth! I don't have veneers so those are my real front teeth. I look a little ridiculous. When I return to Korea, I will go to the dentist," he said.
However, he assured fans that he felt no pain when the incident occurred.
"Painless!! When I perform at concerts, I hit my teeth with the microphone," said Hongjoong.
In response to a fan's question about a broken tooth, Hongjoong explained, “From a distance, you can't see it! But up close, I look ridiculous, hehe.”
