Beomgyu TXT's Exhilarated Response to 'Sugar Rush Ride' Wins Music Shows Steals Attention

When TXT won a music show with 'Sugar Rush Ride' recently, Beomgyu had a confused expression. Beomgyu's action when celebrating his group's victory was in the spotlight.

TXT won again over "Sugar Rush Ride" on the music program "M! Countdown" on Thursday (9/2). In the midst of the group celebration, Beomgyu's excited moment was late realizing his victory immediately made the idol's name lively in social media.

Shortly after the name TXT was announced as the winner, the members bowed their heads to say thank you while clapping their hands. But Beomgyu needed more time to process.

"Who won?" asked Beomgyu. "Us," Soobin answered. "Eung?" Beomgyu asked again. "We," Soobin repeated. "We?" said Beomgyu.

As soon as he realized his group's victory, Beomgyu looked around in confusion. At that time, TXT had to fight "Ay-Yo" from NCT 127, which had also won on other music shows. So it's natural for Beomgyu to lag for a while.

"He daydreamed until there," said one netizen. "He's cute by accident," added another netizen. "I hope Bomie can now curl up in her bed with a big cup of tea and medicine and get lots of rest," said another.

Apart from the moment he realized he was late, Beomgyu also made fans excited during the encore. Because he had to sing live, the 2001-born idol whispered the lyrics "The devil said" and then was embarrassed to himself. The clip of Beomgyu whispering also succeeded in stealing the attention of fans.

Previously, it was reported that Beomgyu was not feeling well during the "Sugar Rush Ride" promotions. Fans on set noted that Beomgyu tends to be quieter during filming. Even though he is usually the most enthusiastic when greeting MOA.

Meanwhile, TXT made a comeback after releasing "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" with the title track "Sugar Rush Ride" on January 27. Their main song MV which was filmed in Indonesia then quickly attracted the attention of fans.

With this new album, TXT has successfully sold more than 2 million copies in the first week it was released. In addition, they have also penetrated the MelOn chart with all the songs from "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION", which are increasingly difficult for K-pop groups to enter. (wk/inta)
