Rose BLACKPINK Shares Stories About Falling in Love with the Piano

BLACKPINK's Rose admits that she fell in love with the piano, which was the first musical instrument she learned. Rose also revealed the 'journey' of falling in love with the piano.

Rose BLACKPINK is one of the idol girl groups who are good at playing a number of musical instruments. But apparently Rose had fallen in love with the first instrument she learned, the piano. Rose also shared stories about her 'love journey' with the piano.

The story was shared by Rose during an interview with Vogue Hong Kong. In the interview, Rose was one of them asked about her love for the piano and how the idol first became acquainted with this instrument.

"The piano is the first instrument you learn, and you once said that playing the piano is the most comfortable. What about the piano attracted you? How did you fall in love with the piano? What is your favorite piano part?" said the question asked by Vogue Hong Kong in an interview published on Monday (5/12) yesterday.

Rose then began to recount her 'first encounter' with the piano. Apparently it was her mother who introduced Rose to the piano when she was a child. Rose revealed that he had experienced difficulties when he first learned, but that changed when he learned about chords.

"My mother arranged piano lessons for me when I was little, and I started learning them. At first I found it difficult, but after learning the chords, I realized that as long as I know the chords, I can sing while playing the piano," said Rose.

After studying music, Rose began to feel the desire to sing. Moreover, he can also play his favorite songs with piano accompaniment and the chords he learned.

Playing music was great, but I think I wanted to sing more from then on. There weren't many karaoke places in Australia at the time, but I realized I could sing my favorite songs by playing the piano the chords I had learned."

"Experimenting by playing the piano over and over with four chords to create new melodies, then playing it like a game, I really fell in love with the piano," he continues.

"If there is a song you want to sing now, play that song. I am very happy to be able to play the piano and sing my favorite songs," concluded Rose. (wk/amel)
