During a recent interview, Nayeon revealed her thoughts on TWICE's contract renewal with JYP Entertainment. Here's the full narrative.
Recently Nayeon TWICE did a photo shoot as well as an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea magazine. On this occasion, he revealed the reason all TWICE members decided to extend their contract with JYP Entertainment.
Nayeon shared, "Ah, yes. Since our group consists of many members, I believe each of us has different reasons why we decided to renew our contracts."
Nayeon believes that the members still want to promote together. That's why they all decided to extend his contract.
"There are some things in common. We all still want to promote with each other, and we want to stay together as TWICE. Our minds match in that regard," he said.
On this occasion, Nayeon also talked about her achievements in 2022. She shared, "I tend not to have clear goals that I want to achieve, but I have debuted as a soloist."
"It's something really big because I've dreamed of it happening for years. The promotion is much more meaningful because ONCE (TWICE fandom) is with me. So, I'm very happy about that," he explained.
Furthermore, Nayeon said, "There is also something I couldn't achieve this year and that is related to my driver's license. I have been getting a driver's license for a long time, but I still haven't driven a car myself."
Meanwhile, Nayeon released her first solo album entitled "IM NAYEON" on June 24. She is the first TWICE member to debut as a soloist. (wk/eval)
