Reportedly, Chuu has financially supported the other LOONA members through his individual activities. On Monday (19/12), Dispatch also released real details of Chuu's and other members' debts.
Following Chuu's release from LOONA, Dispatch released details of the results of the investigation into this case. Apart from mentioning that there was no single criminal in this case, they also straightened out the news that Chuu had financially supported the other members.
On Monday (19/12), Dispatch revealed that the benefits and burdens of LOONA members are borne by each of them. The notion that Chuu paid off all the members' debts was also stated to be incorrect.
During this time, the term Chuu-father appeared which implies that LOONA lives off Chuu's income. On October 5, 2022, Chuu exchanged messages with CEO "A" about the truth of this assumption.
"CEO-nim, am I by any chance paying off everyone's debt too? I'm not paying it am I?" asked Chuu.
CEO A replied, "Of course not."
Based on Blockberry Creative's data, LOONA has earned 18.2 billion won (approximately Rp. 218 billion) between 2016 and 2022. They have spent 16.9 billion won (approximately Rp. 202.5 billion). So that their income is 18.2 billion won and expenses are 16.9 billion.
According to their settlement method, the "LOONA cut" is 5.4 billion won (approximately $6.4 billion). Then minus spending 50 percent of 8.4 billion won (around Rp. 100 billion) leaving a negative of around 3 billion won (around Rp. 35 billion). The results were shared by 12 people, there were around 200 million won (around Rp. 2.39 billion) per member.
But Chuu's situation is different from the other members. Last year in December, he became net positive for debt.
In January 2022, Chuu received his first payment of 70 million won (around Rp. 839 million). To date, the total amount he has received is around 220 million won (around Rp. 2.6 billion).
In addition, Chuu has established "Chuu Corporation" last April. After the court granted her demands, Chuu set off on an independent path. Since then Chuu has kept 100 percent of his income from individual activities while Blockberry Creative only provides support for LOONA. (wk/inta)
