BLACKPINK's Rose Expresses her love for music and performing on stage. Rose also admitted that she realized her love even more during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rose BLACKPINK recalled the times of the COVID-19 pandemic that had occurred since 2020. Rose apparently got a positive lesson from these times, where the BLACKPINK vocalist admitted that he was increasingly aware of his love for music and performing on stage. This was revealed during Rose's interview with Vogue Hong Kong magazine.
When asked about the new things he discovered during the pandemic, Rose gave an unexpected answer that showed his strong passion for music. During the pandemic lockdown, Rose admits that she is increasingly aware of her love for her current job as an artist and performer.
"I really like this work" (I really want to stand on stage and sing again). When I was moving towards my dream, the epidemic came, and I even thought 'what if I can't stand on stage anymore because of the epidemic', haha," said Rose in an interview with Vogue Hong Kong released on Monday (5/12).
Rose seems to really love performing on stage. Rose also discussed BLACKPINK's ongoing world tour concert activities. Rose called the moment of the world tour concert as the most enjoyable.
"Performing on stage while on tour is the most fun, because you can feel the adrenaline when you stand on stage, and you can also see BLINKs in different cities. The energy given by the fans in each city is different, so even though we performing the same songs, every tour will be fresh, very happy and exciting," said Rose.
Rose also shared about the importance of having dreams, which ultimately led the idol to where she is today. Rose revealed that he experienced an extraordinary feeling because he was finally able to debut after the hard work, obstacles and tenacity that he felt during the 4 years of training.
"Having clear goals will make a difference in the end. So I think it's really important and cool to have dreams. When I was a trainee, it was because I had very clear dreams that I was able to stick around for four years. I had definite dreams.. . and I never thought of anything else. After four years of persistence, I'm finally making my debut! It feels great!" concluded Rose. (wk/amel)
