JTBC and Ilgan Sports' music awards show Golden Disc Awards has announced the location for its 37th performance.
Announced on November 14, 2022, the 37th Golden Disc Awards will be held at Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand on January 7, 2023.
This is the first time in 6 years that the Golden Disc Awards have been held overseas, following the 29th event (in 2015) which was held at the MasterCard Center, Beijing.
Initially, the Golden Disc Awards were held in 1986 under the name Korea Visual and Records Grand Prize Award. In 2001, the name of the event was changed to the Golden Disk Awards, which was later renamed the Golden Disc Awards in 2015.
