In 'Welcome To NCT Universe', Shotaro Asks If Sungchan Has A Favorite Member In NCT. Sungchan Praises Members Whose Caring Nature Makes Him Respect These Members.
When Sungchan NCT had just debuted, he chose WayV's Winwin as the member he liked the most. Two years later, the owner's full name is Jung Sungchan thinking about another member who has now won the title as his favorite.
During a segment of "Welcome to NCT Universe", Sungchan complimented a member whose caring nature made him appreciate the member. When Shotaro asked if Sungchan had any favorite members in NCT, he confirmed that he liked them all.
"I like all the members," said Sungchan. But still, there was one that he liked more than the others. Sungchan revealed NCT's Taeil's hidden charm that earned him the title.
Sungchan explained, "But I always think about Taeil, who secretly takes care of everyone as the oldest member. It's very impressive." While Taeil has done his best to take care of the group, Sungchan has watched over and respected him all along.
In another segment on "Welcome to NCT Universe", Sungchan revealed what Jungwoo was like when he was a trainee. The two members did spend a training period together before Jungwoo debuted in 2018 and Sungchan in 2020.
There, Taeyong asked if it was difficult to approach Jungwoo at that time. SMROOKIES's Eunseok said, "It's not hard to approach him, but..." Sungchan interrupted and made everyone laugh when he said, "He (Jungwoo) disciplined us."
