Song Hye Kyo is known to make a donation in the form of a statue to respect the celebration of Korea National Liberation Day.
He admitted, giving this statue was his old intention to contribute to that moment.
Korean National Liberation Day is celebrated every year on August 15 in North and South Korea, where on that date, the Korean Peninsula was released from the Japanese colonial occupation.
In honor of the 77th National Liberation Day, Song Hye Kyo in collaboration with Professor Seo Kyung Duk from Sungshin Women's University donated the relief statue of Kim Kyu Kyu Sik, to the Provisional Government of Korea located in Chongqing, China.
Reporting from Soompi, Monday (8/15/2022) the relief statue was made of bronze measuring 80 cm wide or approximately two legs and seven inches and 90 cm long or two legs and 11 inches. The relief statue will be installed at the office of Prime Minister Kim Koo.
This is the sixth donation of Song Hye Kyo in a relief statue donation campaign for Korean independence activists.
Over the past 11 years, Song Hye Kyo and Seo Kyung Duk have contributed to commemorating National Liberation Day.
They have donated Korean guides and relief statues to 31 international historic sites, to respect the independence movement. /celebrities.id
