SNSD's Seohyun is reported to have tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, the entire series of music that will be held will be canceled, one of which is promotion in music programs.
Girl's Generation is back again to mark their 15 year career in the music industry. They are also scheduled to appear on music shows this week. Unfortunately, it was canceled because the maknae of the girl group (youngest member), Seohyun, tested positive for Covid-19.
Seohyun was diagnosed with Covid-19 today (August 9). Therefore, Seohyun immediately stopped all scheduled activities and is currently receiving treatment and rest, and promotions for Girls' Generation's music show scheduled for this week ("M Countdown" ," "Inkigayo") has inevitably been canceled. Meanwhile, Seohyun also apologized through her Instagram where she gave a written statement to fans who had been waiting for their comeback stage.
"SONEs who must have waited for our promotions longer than anyone… and unnie, I'm sorry. I'm healthy, so I didn't think I would get Covid-19, but in the end, I ended up contracting it," he wrote.
"I am very disappointed and feel very sorry… I will recover quickly, so let's meet in good health on music day next week," he wrote.
