Actor Ma Dong Seok will star in a new blockbuster series titled Hive. He will play the main character being a war soldier.
Launching Allkpop, Friday (12/8/2022), the drama based on the popular thriller webtoon is set in an apocalyptic future, when giant insects have ruled civilization. The survivors fight for their lives in the ruined city against these monstrous creatures.
In the drama Hive, Ma Dong Seok will play the character of Gae Jang Soo, an old soldier who is skilled at taking down giant insects.
Meanwhile, Hive is expected to become the largest budget streaming platform original series in all of South Korea. Acendio will partner with global creative technology studio GIANTSTEP for special effects and visuals to produce the drama.
