Solo singer and entrepreneur, Jay Park recently donated 100 million US dollars or approximately Rp. 1.4 billion to victims of flash floods in South Korea.

As is known, during the second week of August 2022, Seoul was hit by flash floods that were so severe that people had to be willing to swim or at least go through knee-deep floods to do their activities.

In particular, the area under Seoul was severely affected. Those who lived in the basement or half-basement houses, suffered the most damage.

Several reports of deaths and missing persons were also reported in the area. To help the victims get back on their feet, Jay Park donated some of his personal money through the Hope Bridge Foundation.

Not only that, Jay Park also sent his greetings to the flood victims, and hoped that what he did could ease the current burden.

"I hope this can help a little. Stay healthy everyone, and find strength," wrote Jay Park quoted Koreaboo, Saturday (13/8/2022).

Just as an addition, Jay Park is known to have been doing good deeds lately.

In addition to donating to the flood disaster in his country, he is also known to have contributed to various national natural disasters as well as the Australian bushfires and many more. /celebrities.id
