In particular, in the first verse of his song 'STOP (There Are No Bad People In The World)', J-Hope discusses friendship where other people have different opinions from him.

J-Hope recently appeared on MBC Radio's “Starry Night” to discuss his candid and introspective lyrics to “STOP (There Are No Bad People In The World)” from his solo debut album “Jack in the Box”. Addressing such an impactful topic, J-Hope "didn't want to make the lyrics too raw" and did his best to convey his message without going overboard.

In particular, in the first stanza, J-Hope discusses friendship where others have different opinions from him. "I really want to write about friends. You know, you never have friends who have the exact same thoughts as you," said J-Hope.

However, the song's message encourages people to stop and understand why someone might have a different point of view rather than immediately assuming that they are a bad person. J-Hope revealed that even though they have differences that you don't understand with a friend, that doesn't make them evil.

While people might believe it's more reasonable to assume that other people are evil in order to keep your expectations low and avoid getting your feelings hurt, for J-Hope, it's more natural to assume the best of people and try to understand their motives. "I'm the type of person who gets along with other people and I feel more tired when other people are more uncomfortable than myself," she added.

Through J-Hope's empathetic nature, he is able to understand and sympathize with a wide variety of people. From humans to animals, she often feels the emotions of others and does anything to help, such as when she takes an injured kitten to the hospital. In addition, his intelligence makes it possible to think deeply about problems and arrive at logical answers instead of jumping to conclusions. J-Hope hopes his song can make other people stop and think about other people's motives to understand each other. (wk/aiss)
