SM Entertainment Announces That BoA Gets Positive Covid-19 Results, The Production Team Of The Mnet Show 'Street Man Fighter' Participates In Providing An Explanation Regarding Filming.
Today, Thursday (11/8) another K-Pop idol was confirmed to have a positive result of the corona virus. The news was revealed by a well-known agency, SM Entertainment.
Generation 1 idol BoA was revealed to have tested positive today. Currently, BoA is undergoing self-quarantine in accordance with the guidelines provided by the South Korean government.
"We will do our best to fully comply with the quarantine guidelines and focus on recovery, taking into account the health and safety of the artist as our top priority," said SM Entertainment.
BoA is known to be one of the judges on the Mnet survival show "Street Man Fighter". She became the only female judge where she was paired with Super Junior's Eunhyuk and 2PM's Wooyoung.
The production team of "Street Man Fighter" also spoke up regarding filming after BoA was announced Covid-19. The production team revealed that there was no recent shooting of "Street Man Fighter".
Thus, it can be said indirectly that the participants and the judges did not have close contact with BoA. "Recording has not been done recently," said a representative for "Street Man Fighter".
Recently, Mnet itself has just released the official trailer for "Street Man Fighter". The trailer has shown the fierce battle of 8 competing dance crews. The famous dancer Kwon Twins YGX even cried at the "Street Man Fighter" event seen in the trailer.
