5 Iconic Korean Drama Locations That Can Be Visited, There's Namsan Tower and The River Cafe

Korean dramas always steal the hearts of fans around the world with their captivating plots and dynamic characters. With Korean dramas steadily increasing in popularity, many fans are looking to make their dreams come true by visiting memorable locations on their favorite shows.

 

Reporting from Koreaboo on Friday (19/8/2022), the following are the iconic locations featured in Korean dramas.

 

1. Crossing Guesthouse

From the first episode of Our Beloved Summer, the main character Kook Yeon Su (played by Kim Da Mi), is shown walking home and passing a familiar house. It was the house of Na Hee Do (played by Kim Tae Ri) from Twenty Five Twenty One.

 

The house is called Crossing Guesthouse and is located in the city of Jeonju. Even though it's only shown in one scene in Our Beloved Summer, it's featured prominently throughout Twenty Five Twenty One.

 

2. Namsan Tower

Namsan Tower, also known as N Seoul Tower has an observation deck with panoramic views of Seoul. This famous tower was featured in many Korean dramas such as Boys Over Flowers, Rooftop Prince, True Beauty, and Sh**ting Stars.


Boys Over Flowers fans will recognize this tower from episode four where Gu Jun Pyo (played by Lee Min Ho) waits for Geum Jan Di (played by Goo Hye Sun) when it snows.


After Geum Jan Di arrives late, the two decide to take the cable car from the tower, which ends up getting stuck.


In True Beauty, Lee Su Ho (played by ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo) and Im Ju Kyung (played by Moon Ga Young) meet in front of the love lock on the tower when it snows.


3. The River Cafe

The River Cafe in Seoul has also been featured in various dramas. The beautiful glass-covered building allows guests to see fantastic views of the Han River making it the perfect backdrop for drama.


Some of the dramas he has starred in include Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Beauty Inside, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Business Proposal, and Forecasting Love & Weather.


4. Royal Quest Film Set

Royal Quest Film Set has been used in more than 40 Korean dramas, two films and various photo shoots. Super Junior used the set to take photos for their tenth album, The Renaissance. It was also the office set for the plays Cinderella and Four Knights and Melting Me Softly.


5. MOCHUISLE Cafe

MOCHUISLE Cafe is located in Gyeonggi and has appeared in dramas Business Proposal, Our Beloved Summer, Yumi's Cell, Penthouse, and more.


In Business Proposal, the characters Kang Tae Moo (played by Ahn Hyo Seop) and Jin Young Seo (played by Seol In Ah) meet at a cafe to discuss avoiding their parents' attempts at setting a blind date.


In Our Beloved Summer, fictional K-Pop idols NJ (played by Roh Jeoung Eui) and Choi Ung (played by Choi Woo Shik) spend the day together and stop by a cafe.
